The April 2026 content update for Roland Cloud Ultimate delivers the full Galaxias v1.9.0 Super Instrument alongside the ZEN-Core-powered ZENOLOGY GX synthesizer — bringing together 50 years of Roland’s most iconic synths and drum machines under one unified, layerable engine. Explore over 25,000 sounds spanning vintage legends like the JUPITER-8, TR-808, and D-50 through to modern hybrid instruments, all accessible within Galaxias’ redesigned interface with warp-speed load times and DAW-friendly Immersive Mode.
ZENOLOGY GX adds over 11,000 additional ZEN-Core tones to the ecosystem, built on an architecture of four-layer virtual analogue and PCM synthesis, ten modelled filter types including a Jupiter-8 emulation, and 11 LFO shapes including a tempo-synced Step LFO. Layer up to four instrument instances per Scene with per-layer effects, key splits, macro controls, and the full Galaxias arpeggiator and chord sequencer — all shaped by dozens of Roland’s signature effects including the RE-201 Space Echo, JC-120, and JUNO Chorus.
