At the heart of Zebra 3 is its signature Generator Rack — a modular playground built around four spline-based oscillators that morph between hand-drawn waveforms, rendering either as classic wavetables with up to 16-voice unison or as additive engines sculpting sound with up to 1,024 sine partials. Four through-zero FM oscillators chain freely with any rack signal as a third operator, enabling FM algorithms of breathtaking complexity without fixed topology constraints. Twenty oscillator effects — from spectral decay and phase remapping to sync and animated filtering — give each voice a world of timbral possibilities before a single filter is even touched.

The filter section draws from a sprawling 2D palette of models spanning virtual analog, modal resonators, comb filters, and beyond, with granular control over feedback and damping for authentic physical modelling. Noise and Exciter modules supply realistic transients; Vector and Scan mixers blend or sweep through four sources with XY-pad precision. Mod Math modules, freely drawable Mapper curves, ring modulators, wavefolders, and a polyphonic EQ/resonator round out an architecture that rewards exploration at every level.

Wrapped in a sleek, adaptive interface where modules appear only as needed and arrange via drag-and-drop, Zebra 3 ships with over 1,200 factory presets and supports CLAP, VST3, AU, and AAX across macOS, Windows, and Linux — with full MPE, microtuning, and MTS-ESP support.
